Dues Information
What Does Dues Pay For?
Instrumental music programs at DMHS would not be possible without supplemental income. Band Booster dues are not the same as DMHS school registration fees for instrumental classes. Band Booster dues supplement where Scottsdale Unified School District (SUSD) funding and fees don't meet costs. Dues are the largest source of income raised through the Band Boosters and are used for:
Music scores for concert band festivals and football game pep tunes
Uniform and attire cleaning, repair, and replacement pieces for all music ensembles
Instructors and clinicians for all ensembles to enhance student musical learning and experience
Supplemental instrument and equipment repairs
Transportation needs for equipment trucks for festivals and performance competitions
Marching band show music, drill, and props
Food for the marching band at ABODA competitions (1 meal per student).
Student events, including banquets for all ensembles, water and ice for students at performances, senior recognition, and photography
